The same iPSC → monocyte reactor model the loop optimises, with the knobs in your hands. Every value on this page is derived from one instrument channel of a synthetic stand-in. It is a sandbox for building intuition, not a measurement, and nothing here decides anything.
The read is arithmetic over these channels against stated thresholds. A flag names what a channel says — not what is wrong with the culture. An instrument fault and a failing culture can raise the same one.
Runs the conditions above twice: once as the control, once with an effect you assume — how much faster or slower the cells grow, and how much better or worse they differentiate (×1 = no effect). An edited line carries it through the whole process; an added factor (a new cytokine, small molecule or supplement the reactor has no term for) acts only in the stage you give it. The curves are that assumption played through the reactor, labelled as one — not a prediction of what the gene or the factor does.
Follow a setting to the curve it moves. These are the stand-in model's own equations (the full derivation is in BIOSIMULATOR_MODEL.md); they describe the model, not real cells.
